Couples Therapy
Marriage Counseling

Reduce Conflict – Increase Comfort

It’s completely normal for couples to face conflict, however, sometimes it might seem like the content of the fight is not what you are fighting about.  And, in that case, the situation becomes confusing.  And if the conflict continues to worsen this can make life together lonely and painful.  With guidance, you can learn to use more challenging moments to bring you closer and strengthen your connection.

Reconnect and Grow

When you feel truly seen and understood, intimacy grows naturally. By understanding and nurturing closeness, your relationship can become more fulfilling and deeply connected.

Every relationship goes through ups and downs. Together, you can learn to recover from conflict, find trust, rediscover your friendship, and feel more in sync (and sexy) with each other again.

  • Heal from emotional wounds or trauma

With a compassionate, connection-focused approach, I support your teen’s growth while helping your family feel more connected and understood.

ABOUT LORI DUPERON

I am completing my licensing requirements for North Carlina and I will not be seeing clients again until after mid-July 2026.

My background and experience are quite diverse and broad, providing many points of reference for understanding the challenges you may be facing.  I immigrated from Canada to the United States as a teen and have also lived in Europe. I began my career as a professional concert dancer, eventually founding a dance company, touring internationally and winning an Emmy award for one of our filmed projects. Later, I earned a law degree and an MBA from the University of California, Los Angeles. I enjoyed a career with director-level positions in technology management and intellectual property, working and living in several countries. I have also founded several non-profits and small business enterprises.

The COVID epidemic shifted my focus to mental health, and I assisted in the roll-out of the 988 national suicide and crisis line. I also have six years of experience providing counsel to individuals and couples facing head and neck cancer. I continue to be a passionate advocate for the value of the arts for building mental health and a healing community.

If you are suicidal or in crisis, please call or text 988 for confidential and immediate assistance.
